SEAT. is operated by its founders, Nepheli Steuber and Jaqueline Kägi.

2. Hosting
The SEAT. website is hosted directly by SEAT. in Switzerland.
When visitors access our website, certain technical information may be processed automatically, such as the IP address, browser type, device information, date and time of access, and server log data. This information is processed only where necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
We do not use an external hosting provider for the operation of the website.
3. Favourites and browser storage
SEAT. allows visitors to save study spaces as favourites.
Saved favourites are stored locally in the visitor’s browser. They are not transmitted to SEAT., do not contain personal identifiers and are not shared with third parties.
Visitors can remove this information by deleting their saved favourites or clearing the website data stored in their browser.
4. Cookies and analytics
SEAT. does not use cookies, analytics services, advertising trackers or tracking pixels.
We do not track visitors across other websites and do not create advertising or behavioural profiles.
The local browser storage used to save favourites is used only to provide functionality requested by the visitor.
5. Contacting us
If you contact SEAT. by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message, to respond to your enquiry and manage any necessary follow-up communication.
Our email service is provided through Microsoft Outlook. Information included in an email may therefore be processed by Microsoft according to its applicable privacy terms.
Email information is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and complete any required follow-up, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Please do not send sensitive personal information by email unless it is necessary.
6. External links
The SEAT. website contains standard links to external websites and services, including university and library websites, Google Maps and Instagram.
No information is transmitted to these services merely because a standard link is displayed. When a visitor chooses to open an external link, the privacy policy and terms of the destination website apply.
SEAT. is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.
7. Sharing and international processing
SEAT. does not sell personal information.
Personal information may be processed by service providers that support the technical operation of the website or our email communication.
Where personal information is processed outside Switzerland, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data-protection law.
